Rollyballs are sturdy resin spheres with an embeded metal eyelet - using when training dead-hangs or pull-ups helps improve grip strength at the same time, and can add a little extra challenge for smaller stabilising muscles as well.
The smaller balls are a little easier to grip than the large ones, though in both cases adjusting the orientation of the hands changes the difficulty (and the severity of the subsequent forearm pump!).
For best effect the balls should be hung from a sturdy beam or bar, with enough space beneath to hang bent-legged.
